The Toughest Off Road Class
1:8th Nitro Buggy is the premier class of radio controlled off road racing. With action-packed races featuring all-terrain buggies powered by 3.5cc nitro engines, this class evokes some of the sights, sounds and smells of full-size off road racing.
Grueling Long Races
Mixed surfaces, jumps, track evolution and race strategy – the 1:8 Nitro Buggy class presents drivers with the most challenging off road experience in radio controlled racing. Races lasting up to 60 minutes in length reward endurance, patience and consistency, with refuelling playing a key role, adding to the excitement.
Technically Advanced & Rugged
1:8th scale nitro buggies are designed with robustness in mind, built to tackle the challenging surfaces and track features that characterise the class. The vehicles are highly engineered, making use of high-grade materials, and are designed using the same principles as full-size competition vehicles, offering extensive adjustment possibilities that allows for fine tuning to suit the often evolving track conditions. However, due to the complexity of the vehicles, the class is not considered to be the easiest route into the sport for newcomers.
